Officer I Swear, VTEC Just Kicked In! Honda Driver Skillfully Pulls Himself Over Right In Front Of Cop Car

Offbeat

No one wants to be on the bad side of the law, but the driver of this silver Honda Civic actually managed to get in trouble in a truly bizarre way.

Details about this incident are scarce but we know it was filmed from the dashcam of a patrol car somewhere in the U.S. on April 28.

Seconds after the video starts, the Civic can be seen in the distance veering off the road and kicking up a plume of dirt. As the police car gets closer, the Honda once again veers off the road and this time, spins around 180-degrees and despite the officer’s best attempts to avoid being hit, the rear of the Honda slams right into the front of his car.

It is a weird accident and for other motorists that were passing by, it probably looked like the police officer had rear-ended the driver of the Civic.

In the moments after the crash, the officer makes a call to report the incident and then appears to exit their vehicle, obviously surprised by what had just happened.

Speaking of which, what do you think happened – did VTEC just kick in, was the driver distracted or something else?
